DRUM PROCESSING AND DISPOSAL
ERC processes non-hazardous packaged waste (drums, cubic yard boxes, pallets, Liqua-bins and Super Sacs) in varying quantities with an acceptance limit of 500 drums per day.
The drums are sampled in accordance with PADEP permitting standards and are tested at minimum for the following:
- PH
- Flashpoint
- PCB's
- Halogens
If the drums comply with the acceptance parameters, they are either solidified and land filled or incinerated, co-mingled for beneficial re-use (petroleum products) or bulked for waste water treatment.
