New Employees Are Key To Rising Demand and Sustainability Lancaster, PA – The need for treating industrial wastes and maintaining the correct environmental approach continues to drive business and increase employee count at Environmental Recovery Corporation. The company provides complete treatment for industrial waste streams by using advanced technologies and expanding the on-staff expertise. "Keeping pollution from entering the environment is top-priority for the organization.” comments company president, Ken Lefever. "As the awareness, restrictions and waste streams increase, our business continues to grow and requires new talent provide these services.” Currently the company has 50 employees, and since the end of 2011 has added two more employees to the organization. Peter C. Haiges was recently promoted to Vice President of Operations and now oversees all production and operations. Mr. Haiges has many years of experience in sales and operations management and focuses on improving ERC’s service assist customers. Mr. Haiges comments, "The market for environmentally correct processing and handling of waste streams continues grow. ERC is poised to be a leader and resource with expanding capacities and technologies.” As the company adds new technologies and capacities, the decision was made to bolster the sales force and tap into the service region to help more industrial companies process their waste-streams. Recently ERC added Eric Merling as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Merling represents over 20 years of sales and sales management experience spanning multiple industries. His focus is mentoring, managing and hiring top-quality consultants to service customers and attract new business opportunities. Mr. Merling comments, "There are abundant opportunities for ERC to continue to grow and provide services throughout the region.” On the financial side of the business, the need for more reporting, controlling and planning has resulted in the hiring of a new company controller. Diane Canarelli was brought on-board to take on the position. Ms. Canarelli has an extensive career history in financial management with experience in multiple business settings. She takes the lead on financial processes and accuracy within the organization to keep the company properly informed and compliant. Ms. Canarelli states, "I am excited to join ERC and bring solid accounting practices to a company that is in a growth mode.
