Solidification
ERC currently operates four, steel lined in-ground concrete solidification pits with capacities of 6,000 gallons each. Acceptable non-hazardous waste streams for solidification may be at or above 140 degrees Fahrenheit and can vary from untreatable ink waste streams to heavy sledges and solids.

Once the non hazardous waste is solidified, it will then be shipped offsite to various PA DEP approved landfills and waste to energy plants.
The ERC facility also offers the ability for outside haulers to rinse out trucks and trailers after unloading.
All waste is sampled, profiled and analyzed in accordance with ERC's PA DEP permit prior to offloading. ERC will accept outside profiles as well. The ACT 90 permit is required for all inbound haulers.
