Management

Richard L. Middleton - Owner/President

Rick founded Lancaster Oil Company, now Environmental Recovery Corporation, in 1988. Rick's oversight has led ERC from a small water/oil recycling center to a full service environmental corporation with a reputation in the industry of which he is justifiably proud.

Terry B. Leatherman - General Manager

Terry came to ERC in 2000 from the chemical distribution industry. His sales background coupled with his attention to detail and high level of customer focus keep ERC on the cutting edge of the environmental field.

Peter C. Haiges - Operations Manager

Peter is the newest member of our management team, joining us in 2003. He brings attention to detail and a clear view of the "big picture" to the forefront of our operations. He continually upgrades and improves our service to better assist our customers.

Kermit L. Burkholder - Director/ Research and Development

Kermit, with his highly recognized skills as a chemist and extensive knowledge of engineering processes, directs our processing innovations and heads our product development center. In the twenty years Kermit has been with us, he has provided us with invaluable technology.

Mike Mulrine - Director/ Corporate Laboratory

Mike came to us in 2001 with 11 solid years in the residual and hazardous waste industry. He oversees our premier lab facility and staff, insuring a high standard of accurate testing and treatment at ERC.

Mike A. Kilhefner - Manager/Field Services

Mike came to us in 2000. His high energy level and superb attention to every aspect of a complicated industry, be it closed entry tank cleaning or lab packs, produces a high level of customer satisfaction, year after year.

Steve D. Shuman - Director/Plant and Processing

Steve has overseen our complex treatment operations for the past 20 years. He coordinates the entire processing plant, dealing with the thousands of gallons of challenging waste streams and tons of solids ERC processes daily.
